Meet Megan Jordan

Born and raised in Tampa, Megan Jordan started her Real Estate career at the age of 22. She became one of Tampa’s youngest brokers at the age of 25, helping start another Real Estate Brokerage in the Tampa area, targeting investors as well as property management. Her passion for her clients and love for her work have led her to open up Bay to Bay Brokerage.

In her free time you can find Megan on a nearby soccer field, at her local Crossfit Gym, taking care of a foster pup or two, reading, or spending time with her Husband, Cary Jordan. Cary & Megan met at H.B Plant High School, and have been together ever since, cementing the fact that Tampa is the greatest city on earth.

Why choose Bay to Bay Brokerage?

Having grown up in the Real Estate industry with my Mom and with a Dad in national sales, I knew from a young age that the conventional corporate 9 to 5 world and I would probably not mesh. At the age of 10 I told my Mother that she must be insane to work as a Realtor because of all of the unknowns and the mixture of personalities involved. She laughed and told me that if you’re passionate about your job you never work a day in your life. She told me that her passion came from knowing that she was genuinely helping people and making a difference in the lives of families.

Fast forward to the end of my Senior year at FSU when I’ve almost completed my double major in Marketing & Psychology. I felt torn about what career path to follow.  On one hand, I was so incredibly naturally drawn to a sales career.  The only problem was that I was having a really hard time pinning down a company or product that I felt passionate enough about to sell well. Yes, payroll and software are important, but I am still missing that connection with the consumer. I could sell cell phones, but do I feel good about handing over a phone to a 13 year old girl when all she is going to do is dive head first into social media and comparisons? The other option on the table was to take the Psychology part of my degree and apply to grad schools to become a high school counselor. I loved the fact that I would be having a part in helping high school kids select and apply for college, and in turn helping them set up the trajectory for the rest of their lives. That’s the kind of impact I could get behind. This impact came with a pretty high price tag though. I ran the numbers of how much my debt would be if I took out a loan to pay for grad school. I essentially would be starting off my career almost $50,000 in school debt, and looking at monthly repayment amounts of at LEAST $600! That was more than I was currently paying for rent+water+utilities!

I started talking to my family, bosses, and friends about how they have saved for life and retirement, which is a very odd question to come from a 21 year old college senior. I was asking because I knew that I didn’t want to spend my life trudging uphill financially, but rather figure out a way to maximize the money I had then so that I didn’t have to live in financial fear, and could spend my life LIVING. For me, living means traveling, laughing, and being present in the life moments that count.

When posed with the question of “What’s been the most important investment” and “What has been the best financial decision you’ve ever made”, I was shocked to find that the answer was either “Purchasing my first home” or “Buying investment real estate”.

My passion in life is meeting with couples or individuals and sitting down with them to discuss their financial plans for the future, and how we can make those dreams a reality. I have found that in most of those cases, buying a home for the stability in monthly payments and the forced savings aspect has been an integral part of these plans. Bay to Bay Brokerage was born from the idea of being life rich by utilizing the opportunity of Real Estate and planning.

It turns out that Mother does know best.

    MEET THE TEAM!

    Tabitha Woodward

    Tabitha Woodward

    Real Estate Agent

Hi, I’m Tabitha, but that’s a lot of syllables, so you can defer to just Tab. You may not have intentionally stumbled across this part of our incredible website, but since you’re here, let me say hello and get you up to speed about myself and the love of my life — residential real estate.

Prior to starting in Real Estate, I worked in the service industry while completing my Bachelor’s in Psychology with a focus in pre-medical studies at the University of South Florida. If you’ve ever worked in retail or restaurants, I applaud you. Serving brings so much more to the table than just food. It teaches you how to balance all personalities and walks of life, how to master multitasking, while maintaining professional bearings in the face of every forgotten-extra-ranch strife; though mostly, working in customer service teaches you the magnitude of empathy.

I tested the real estate waters in 2015 as an administrator to learn all the nitty gritty details that entail running a real estate business – I. Was. Hooked. I soon became a licensed REALTOR, streamlining my focus as a Buyer’s Specialist at the time.

Being the sentimental sap that I am, I value my interactions with my clients over all else. I strive to make all contracts as seamless as possible while building a good rapport on solid foundations of trust and fun throughout the process. Buying a house is a big move (no pun intended) but it doesn’t have to be stressful.

As a Tampa native, I love to keep my pulse on all modern developments in our beautiful city. I have always had a passion for the remarkable architecture and culture of Cigar City. When I’m not working, you can find me at any one of my local Seminole Heights neighborhood foodie spots, digging through the dusty crates of any record store, loving my dogs, or going to look at the beautifully renovated bungalows just for fun (see, you can never get away from it – addicting).

As a cohesive and ambitious group, we appreciate the rich history of the homes within Tampa Bay, the ever expanding growth of eclectic culture in our area, and most importantly, the people who call Tampa home. Tampa Bay is growing and so is Bay to Bay Brokerage. We are experienced, energetic, and eager to serve all of your real estate needs.

    Jessica Butterer

    Jessica Butterer

    Real Estate Agent

Jessica moved to Tampa in 2015 to escape the harsh winters of the northeast. She grew up in Colorado and moved to New York at 19 to become an actress. Several (several) auditions and waitressing jobs later she found herself living in New Jersey because it was what she could afford. After a few years of freezing winters she decided she needed a change and found her way down to the city she loves and now calls home, Tampa.

While she still loves to perform on stage as a hobby, professionally Jessica has worked in finance for the last 12 years. First she started in banking and then moved on to specialize in investments (obtaining her series 6, 7, 63, and 66). While she became very knowledgeable about the world of investing she felt she was missing the personal and community connection that she craved. After purchasing her own home in Tampa and helping her mother find a home in the area as well, Jessica realized she had a passion for real estate. Once she met Megan Jordan and picked her brain about real estate as a career she felt Megan’s passion and decided it was the right direction for her career path! Jessica is a very motivated new agent who is ready to help with any of your real estate needs. She can also help you understand the investment side of real estate with all of her experience in that arena.

In her spare time you will find Jessica spending time with her friends and family. She loves exploring neighborhoods and going on walks with her husband Eric, their son Leo, and their fur baby Foxy. She also loves to perform, attend the theatre, and go to the beach whenever possible.

    Iesha Cruz

    Iesha Cruz

    Real Estate Agent

Moving can be quite a scary process, and no one knows that more than Iesha. After leaving Guam at a young age, she constantly moved back and forth between Georgia and Virginia. This allowed Iesha to recognize the stability between those moments of settling down. Although it was difficult to continuously move, she always enjoyed seeing new homes and meeting new people. This made it obvious that she was meant to be a Real Estate agent. Her patience, sympathy, perceptivity, and understanding just confirmed that this was her calling.

She always had a sixth sense of helping someone find that special place to call home. In her free time, Iesha enjoys one of her favorite pastimes which is going to explore a variety of houses to see what makes them different from the rest, and she would match that to the people that she knew. It eventually became second nature. She realized that:.

“Being in a space that you can call your own is a very big deal, so don’t cheat yourself with the process of finding a home. By putting all you can into that process will give you the ability to love every inch without a second thought. That is what I want to help people feel.”

    Savannah Howard

    Savannah Howard

    Real Estate Agent

As a Tampa native, Savannah Howard has seen the massive changes across Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties. She is inspired daily to help her clients navigate and simplify the home buying and selling process. Savannah entered real estate after ten years as a technology sales executive- consulting, negotiating, and closing multi-million dollar contracts with top companies like Publix, Google, Baycare, Truist, and Duke Energy. After a nine-month-long home renovation project, she recognized that residential real estate allowed her to marry all her strengths (negotiation, strategy, communication, data analysis, and process management) with her loves (home design, the diverse Bay area neighborhoods, and helping others in the community succeed). The rest was history! Her clients love that she is a creative visionary, always willing to go the extra mile, and not only solves problems but provides solutions. In her free time, you can find Savannah exploring new restaurants with her husband, Nick, or checking out a show at one of the many local concert venues.
